Weight Training


I want to introduce myself. I am the skinny guy wanting to get ripped. I am big guy wanting to lose weight. Whatever your challenge, I want you to know that I have been there. I have felt the pain and anguish of both sides of the fence. I want to share with you my accomplishments. My wins.

When I think of the frustration of building muscle I think back to 1998. I was 6’2″ 165 lb. I was thin framed forward for my high school basketball team. I cannot forget my struggle to put on muscle when it seemed so easy for the other guys. They didn’t even spend that much time in the weight room. Over the years gaining the weight stopped being the issue. At one point I was 6’3″ – 270 lbs and feeling the strenuous effects of being that size. I tried various routines and diets to get back in shape, tired of being TIRED all the time. I was able to get my weight down to 205. Now almost 2 decades after high school – at 6’3″ 230 lbs- I am challenging myself to pack on some muscle refine my physique to the body I have always wanted. I am inviting you to follow me on this journey.
