The Share It Fitness team comes from a diverse professional background but proudly share a few commonalities. They are all alumni of James Madison University (Go Dukes!) in Harrisonburg, VA and all currently reside in America’s Finest City…San Diego, CA. They believe that no matter what your experience level, fitness can be a part of your every-day life…and it does not have to involve a gym, or even a specific routine. Fitness is a state of mind, a desire that has to start from within…and you’ll see from their extracurricular interests below, that can mean anything, as long as you GET UP AND GET MOVING!

 

Matt Paley

Matt Paley PortraitMatt has been involved in the fitness industry for over 10 years and has worked with, and helped countless individuals improve their lives. After college, Matt started his fitness career working in the trenches as a personal trainer for a big corporate gym. It was here he saw how impersonal Big Fitness really was. Clients weren't people, they were just sales waiting to be made. After branching out and starting his own personal training business in San Diego, Matt soon developed the idea of Share It Fitness and started our (now highly successful) blog. A fitness junkie himself, Matt knows the importance of incorporating exercise into your life. Dave Blackman

David Blackman PortraitDave has years of experience managing large scale IT projects and has always had a passion for entrepreneurship and creating solutions that solve industry problems. He manages our website, video streaming technology, and the company's financial operations.  He is responsible for how our information gets presented to you on a daily basis. He is no gym rat…and in fact detests the thought of a treadmill. His true passion is getting off the grid whenever possible. Matthew Wilberger

A Pittsburgh San Diegan and a "Literal Lean Startup", Matthew has launched two major websites within the past year - becoming quite the start-up junkie! Matthew, an innovative and entrepreneurial Millennial, is leaving behind a career in Management Consulting to run Operations full-time at Share It Fitness. With him, he brings a strong passion for web media and content. Inspired by his sabbatical pursuing Clinical Psychology, Matthew is deeply intrigued with the intersection of health, psychology, and technology. Matthew’s fitness philosophy is – “The best way to treat your mind right is to treat your body right, REGULARLY!” His fitness likes include deck hockey, skiing, biking, volleyball and yoga. Lindsey Hicks

Lindsey, social media director, is Share It Fitness' link to the world. She brings her wealth of experience in the social media industry to Share It Fitness, helping strategize, manage, and evaluate social media campaigns. Lindsey has played a major role in helping Share It Fitness develop their large and devoted following.
