I'm already taking fitness classes in real-life, is there any reason to use Share It Fitness?

We believe the Share It Fitness experience is a great supplement to whatever it is you are already doing. We give you access to hundreds of new group fitness classes and DVD-style workouts that go hand-in-hand with what you're already doing. Maybe you're running late and can't make it to the yoga studio one day, or perhaps its cold, rainy, and you just don't feel like leaving your living room. With Share It Fitness, now you don't have to skip your workout for the day. Our OnDemand library lets you get your workout anywhere, anytime.

How much does a Share it Fitness membership cost?

At the moment, Share It Fitness is a free service while we conduct our beta testing. If you are interested in becoming a beta tester, please send an email to info@shareitfitness.com

I'm a beta user, how do I sign up for the free premium account?

There are two ways. If you have not yet signed up for the site, follow the appropriate registration link in the welcome newsletter you recieved. If you are already registered as a Bronze Member, use the corresponding link in the newsletter to upgrade to a premium Membership. See the video below to see how to upgrade:

What's a beta release?

Our beta release is a period when the site is open to select individuals and we will be conducting extensive user focus groups. We're looking forward to receiving lots of your comments and concerns about the Share It FItness experience. We'll be spending the next few months updating the site, making improvements, and fine-tuning things based on this feedback. Expect Share It Fitness to evolve for the better over the next few months. We hope you stick with us as we iron things out and make your experience on Share It Fitness as great as it can be.

How do I find a class?

How do I use the 'Ask a Pro' feature?

Simply click on the Ask a Pro link, found under the Fit Tools tab on the main toolbar. From there, fill in the required fields, ask your question, and wait for your response.

How long does it take for a Pro to get back to me?

All of our pros are actual people who take the time to read your question and sometimes conduct the appropriate research before replying. We aim to have a response back to you in 24 hours or less.

Can I work out with the instructors featured in your fitness classes?

Almost certainly. Reach out to the instructors by sending them a message on Share It Fitness. Almost all of them are open to taking on new clients at this time.

Are your classes effective?

Our classes are extremely effective. Not only has every class found on Share It Fitness been expertly designed by the qualified fitness professional leading it, we've also allowed real-life people the opportunity to sample our classes before making them available to our users. We listened to their feedback, found what worked and what didn't, and kept only the best workouts in our OnDemand library.

I don't see my favorite type of group fitness class here, will you be adding it?

We're always adding new classes, but if you have a specific class you'd like to see us film in mind, please send us your comments to info@shareitfitness.com. We'll make every effort to find a qualified instructor to lead the class you'd like to see.

What is this Body Diversity Training Method I'm seeing you talk so much about?

The Body Diversity Training Method is a fitness concept developed by our founder, Matt Paley. Body Diversity Training involves incorporating various fitness disciplines into a comprehensive fitness program. Think of it as the ultimate cross-training program. BDT utilizes aspects of yoga, pilates, high-intensity interval training, and more to deliver a fitness program that makes it virtually impossible for your body to grow accustomed to. This means CONSTANT progress. The Share It Fitness customized workout plans, available to our Gold Members, are developed with the core principles of the Body Diversity Training method.

How do I make the most of Share It Fitness?

Share It Fitness is designed to make achieving your health and fitness goals easier and more convenient than ever before. An ideal Share It Fitness day would start by browsing our OnDemand library and doing a little relaxing morning yoga class. In the afternoon, you connect with a few other members in our forum and discuss some awesome new healthy recipes you're just dying to try later. Before you get started on dinner, you take one of our cardio based fitness classes to blast a little fat and completely exhaust body. Share It Fitness isn't just a tool to be used every now and then. Our devoted community of other like-minded individuals and constantly growing library of fitness classes makes it the perfect tool to incorporate into your life on a daily basis. Getting fit is about consistency. Get consistent with Share It Fitness and be amazed at how fast the progress comes about.

Will you continue to add new fitness classes?

We will ALWAYS continue to add new fitness classes to our OnDemand library. Unlike DVDs which grow old after a while, a Share It Fitness membership will always stay fresh, interactive, and exciting. There will never be an extra charge for accessing additional videos; as long as you're a member, you get instant access to all of our newest fitness classes.

What devices am I able to view classes on?

Our videos will play on almost any mobile phone, tablet, computer, or wifi-enabled television. Please ensure you have a strong internet connection when trying to watch any of the videos on Share It Fitness. Using the 4G network or Wifi is ideal; you may encounter slow streaming when viewing on the 3G network.

How do I play a video?

Simply select a video and click the play icon in the center of the screen. Depending on your internet connection speed, it may take several moments for the video to begin.

Are your video classes in HD?

Yes. All videos on Share It Fitness have been encoded at 1280x720 resolution, which is standard high-definition.

How do I view video classes in full screen?

Move your mouse to the bottom of the video to reveal the timer navigation bar. Click on the rectangular full screen icon found to the far right of the timer navigation bar.

How do I increase volume?

Move your mouse over timer navigation bar at the bottom of the video. Increase the volume by clicking on the audio icon found to the left of the rectangular full screen icon. Additionally, you can adjust the volume on your computer and/or use external computer speakers.

When are fitness classes available?

All of the fitness classes found on Share It Fitness are available OnDemand, 24/7. Simply browse our library, find a class you'd like to take, and press play. Finally, fitness classeson YOUR schedule.

What if I've never worked out before?

If you're brand new to fitness, we suggest you spend some time getting acquainted with the terminology, techniques, and workouts found in our OnDemand library. Spend some time reading through our article database, browse our blog, talk to other beginners in our forums. Once you feel you have a basic understanding, start by searching our OnDemand fitness class library for beginner classes.

Is there anywhere I can view demonstrations of the exercises found in the fitness class videos?

Absolutely. Browse our body diagram to view hundreds of exercise demonstrations on video. Simply pick the body part you'd like to target and a full list of exercise demostrations for that body part will appear. Select the one you'd like to view and press play.

Can I download classes?

Of course! This is what makes Share It Fitness so versatile. No longer are you relegated to watching a fitness video in front of your TV in the living room. Simply click the STORE tab on our main toolbar at the top of your screen. From there, browse all of our classes for download. Find the class you want to take, download it, and take it with you on the go, wherever that may be.

How do Fit Points work?

FitPoints and Medals are awarded to Members for engaging with other members, completing a full profile, participating in the forums, referring new members, and accomplishing goals. These points will be redeemable for rewards such as free months of premium memberships, workout gear, and discounts to partner websites. A complete breakdown of how you can earn FitPoints is coming soon, this week.
